Civil war cave, bentonville
Civil war cave, bentonville
Looking for any information from anyone who knows about the civil war cave outside of bentonville. I have been out to the property that I believe it's on but failed to locate the cave. If anyone knows anything, maybe specific landmarks or location within the property itself it would be appreciated.

Re: Civil war cave, bentonville
Crazy timing I just started thinking about this. I have visited about 13 years ago, granted I was about 10. The man that showed me has since passed but I need to get in contact with his son about it. The cave is near the “Kindred North” venue property off highway 72. It was the most insane cave i have ever seen. Stairs down 300 feet of cave. Make sure to bring a flashlight if you find it. I may go looking one of these days. I remember so vividly that I even remember that we had to sneak on into that many years ago, so I can only imagine its harder to get in now.

I have been out to the venue, given it was night time when we looked so we couldn't exactly see very well, but we looked around for a while and as we were leaving the cops showed up. My main question is where is the cave is relation to the old gift shop/bridal suite. It may be in my best interest to look in the day when I can see, lol.

I live right behind that property, I've looked for hours and I can include a map of where I've already checked. I plan to keep looking throughout the summer.
Also, there is a old house out there, a small shed, and a couple old cars that are super rusted out, although beware of trail cams/ cameras in general. The Walton's have been plotting to buy that land for years to build a bike path through there.
