My cousin had an Altima as a rental car and it was pretty fun. Makes a slow car feel fast because the rpms never really drop. They can't handle a lot of power though hence why you only see them on lower horsepower cars or snowmobiles

RE: Post Something Interesting
Reason I ask how many miles your 'reliable' car has on it is my brother's 350 chevy truck just finally died at over 400k miles. His employee was driving it and didn't top off the fluids. It was 3qts low on oil and low on coolant. Blew the head gasket. This truck hauled a big lawn care trailer full of equipment for many of those miles, not to mention cars on several occasions.
Before that, his daily driver had over 300k on it when an unknown issue forced him to take it to a shop far from home. The shop butchered the engine and couldn't figure out what the problem was. He towed it back home and found a minor carburetor issue.

Re: Post Something Interesting
Its got just under 140k on it right now. Bought it at 119k. So far not one major problem, and the only mechanical things I have replaced on it were the front lower ball joints and a sticky brake caliper. Last year, when I sold that old piece of shit 93 Integra, it had just over 300k with its original engine, transmission, starter, and alternator. However the damn thing did go through a ton of axles, most likely due to my worn motor mounts and the shitty quality of the remans.SubLunar wrote:How many miles does it have on it?paul06660 wrote: reliability.

I haven't really read any of the past few posts, cause I'm not a car guy nor does it interest me, but with paul's getting in on the subject it reminds me of when you first joined and cobbers would rail on you about your rice burner... ah good times.
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

It really makes me want to look more closely at some of the caves I've been in. That stuff would be so easy to miss.mindwaave wrote:This is damn cool. Forgot you were our resident paleontology expert.BROUSER wrote:http://users.stlcc.edu/mfuller/rockart.html

I have no idea who drives / owns this vehicle but I'm fairly certain we would get along great.

Got bored and decided to make a channel trailer. Mostly footage from 2014 since my older stuff is stuck on a dead laptop

Some days I wish I could write "God is a Woman" on my chest and go to Vatican City to run shirtless from Les Miserables uniforms. No one wants to see it, but it would be cathartic for me.
