White Rabbit: Maybe we're thinking of different sets of caves. I've never been there myself, just going off of what the guy I work with said.

Next weekend sounds good to me I really wanna find this staircase if it exsists. And looking at those caves would be cool too.
I went over to the dark side, but just to pick up a few things.

We will prolly be going around noon or so. I work nights so getting up before that is almost impossible. However I dont see why we all couldnt meet up on sunday and do some exploring. I think itd be fun to meet with everyone.

We'd love to have you all along. Maybe we could meet up at the ice cream shop in westport again it seems a central location. If anyone wants to go or has a better place to meet up just email or pm me or ze_beeved. :D

Well I think more around 1:00 getting up at noon is like getting up at 4am for us night workers. ze_beeved and I both work nights.
Sorry I said noon that was big stupidity on my part.

I would just like to extend my thanks to all those who came out. Im sorry we didnt find anything but I was going on an urban legend about the area. I would still like to look around in the near future for the staircase if anyone is interested. I still dont know if it is really there but I dont want to give up untill every square inch is covered. Also to anyone concerned about security and legal issues the security there is really cool, we encountered them twice and they were actually helpful, one time they even gave us bottled water, so as long as you go during the daytime there is nothing to worry about. This is a good start for a newbie.

That's freaking awesome. Did you tell them what you were looking for?
