Road Trip Suggestions
This weekend I’ll be driving from Springfield to NorthEast Wyoming. Any suggestions on things I should see or do? Most things that are even mildly exciting are closed for the season and I was wondering if anyone had explored any of that area?

Are you driving thru Omaha?
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

Sadly it's not open till March, but if you can get some photos thru the fence of the Hazard minesweeper at Freedom Park I'll love you long time.

I don't have much experience in Wyoming other than the Northwest corner. Kansas and Nebraska don't have much that catch my eye so I usually just drive straight through.

There's a decent number of abandoned mines around Deadwood, SD, and a pretty huge one just west of Weeping Water, NE, that would probably require doing some illegal stuff to access.
