Exploring with Drones?
Re: Exploring with Drones?
I didn't realize Cementland was so far from downtown. Seems closer when driving...
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

Some of mine. Haven't been out in a while unfortunately.
Some of these are from my old Hubsan but most are from the Mavic Pro I switched to a some months ago.

Damn, these are magnificent! I never knew how bad I needed a drone mindwaave, where did you take these pictures? If it isn't a place that's too far away, I'll make sure to pay a visit to these abandoned facilities...
Re: Exploring with Drones?
Great shots. Do you use any ND filters for your Mavic, Chris?
Re: Exploring with Drones?
I have a set of Polar Pro filters. I do not use them.
Re: Exploring with Drones?
Did you find them a delicate hassle like I did?Chris wrote:I have a set of Polar Pro filters. I do not use them.
My Mavic Pro crashed earlier this summer after 2.5 years of flight. I've repaired the arm and motor mount, but still need a new motor and camera. Might just wait for the next gen, then snipe the current gen on eBay...

You may not have to wait too long for gen3
I'm currently on my 2nd mavic pro and she's going strong (as far as I can tell)

No, I just didn't see whatever it was they were supposed to do for my video/photos. They also caused all kinds of brightening/darkening as the bird turns, presumably due to the polarization.mindwaave wrote:Did you find them a delicate hassle like I did?Chris wrote:I have a set of Polar Pro filters.
