Re: 10 year Anniversary?
If I recall correctly, UO is actually older but was "reset" around then.
In 2004, I was having the most fun of my life, in a locally popular band, hanging out and causing mischief. I became self-employed (and stayed that way for 5 years). I was skinny.
It was good.

cob was a gentleman and a scholar. And he gave me some 4 barrel carburetors which might some day once again burn gas at an alarming rate.
Willard might have also been but my only recent conversations with him involved him providing incorrect information about locations in Saint Louis which I was obligated to correct.

2004... hmm I believe that's the year I applied to SMSU, which became the college I got my degree from (after 10 years and dropping out of two other colleges.
Also I was working for Talking Rocks Cavern as a tour guide, I believe. And still living at home with the parents, much to both of our's dismay.

Re: 10 year Anniversary?
Ah, the glory days. Things were a lot more active back then. I'm going to blame most of the trouble with people leaving and things getting quiet on relationships and kids. People never learn.
Re: 10 year Anniversary?
Hmm... well I've been out of the loop for a while... I finally finished college (general business, yet can't find a job with it to save my life), spend a year unemployed after getting fired from Chase, I'm now ordained as a Reader in the Orthodox Church, I'm employed again (more call center work... yay...), had a little girl back in May, been donating much of my history stuff to the Library Center and the History Museum, I'm an Assistant Scountmaster for my old Scout Troop... that's about it.

this made my laugh my ass off I had a really shitty 2004 as well bro. so FUCK YOU 2004!SubLunar wrote:That time period of my life pretty much sucked. I was in a relationship with an alcoholic whore, was working at gas stations and had a car that broke down on me all the fucking time. 2004 was probably one of the years in which my car didn't even have heat in the winter (bypassed heater core). And I didn't explore much. I usually worked over time and was going to school at night. Fuck you, 2004.

2004... left my dream job to start my own company with my coworker. lasted 18 months. my gf at the time got laid off from her job and was jobless for 3 months. her meds ran out and she leveled off and the bipolar kicked in. hard. was still driving the red ranger (had her for 10 years). sold my 03 for stupid amount of money to a guy i later went to work for.
