I totally thought something was wrong with this bird (golden eagle) until someone told me he was sunning, and they do it all the time. Huh. Who knew? Lol!
All of these woodland critters were violently anal probed without mercy before and after the photos were taken and all within a few days of each other.
The turtles were picked off of the road and released in a huge (several hundred or more acre) wooded park within a mile or so of where I picked em up.
The garter snake was one of the largest of its kind I've caught. Usually, they're pretty small in comparison.

Sleep is a waste of time, you can sleep when you are dead
Kitten I rescued a few weeks ago from the woods at the end of St. Charles Rock Rd. in Bridgeton (where the old bridge was). I named him "Rocky" because of where I found him. Hims a cutie. A bit of a lush though.
A few more pics of the new guy. This was when I first got him. I'm guessing the scratch on his nose was from something he tried to eat when he was living in the woods. He was only there for a week. I know this because I saw some people carrying him and another kitten around at the park where I found him a week earlier. Not sure if he ran off or they dumped him, but finders, keepers. No responsible pet owner would be carrying their cats around at a park without a leash anyway. I'm thinking he's around 4-5 months old. He's not fixed and isn't spraying yet so he is still pretty young. We are getting him fixed very very soon though before he does start spraying. We have 3 other male cats who are fixed, but are very territorial because we've had them for a really long time. So I know it's coming.
