St. Charles County, MO
Hello! I'm new here so any help/tips/advice would be appreciated.
Anyways, I'm from St. Charles County and know of a few good places in the area but am wanting to widen my horizons and photo ops, so although I've noticed some people reluctant to give out good spot info (for good reasons, I know). However, I was wondering if anybody would like to trade locations info? Thanks everybody!!!

Peruse the StL forum, there's lots of good info and places in there.
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

And people will like you here if:
A. You're not a douchebag
and
B. you post lots of pics of stuff you explore.
Although the more pics you post the more douchebaggery you can get away with...

A while back, we tried finding Cave Springs. Doesn't look like there's any cave left, but we found some drains and some juicy historical tidbits.

Very nice. I have actually never even thought of searching for that. Also, I'm not a ghost-hunter but I do like to, of course, go places with history rich with that kind of background, are any abandoned places ok to post about here? Also, what about abandoned/forgotten cemeteries?

What kind of locations have you been to already? You say you know of some, do you have pics?

The exact location of the cave/spring at Cave Springs is under the medical office next door to McDonald's. The building was originally a Dutch Pantry.

Actually wouldn't it be with more than one spring since Cave Springs is plural?

Spent most of the day exploring and researching Cave Springs. I come to the conclusion, the cave in the area of the medical building and Mcdonalds.

yup. crawl in that raised manhole near the highway ramp and you'll be about as close as one can get to it. Storm drains run all along the highway in that area. Been all through em.
