Located in a secluded area on top of a large hill (perhaps mountain) in Talihina Oklahoma. Built in 1930 specifically to house children with tuberculosis. The Harper building is one of several buildings from the former Eastern Oklahoma Tuberculosis Sanitorium. The property is now government owned and run by Oklahoma Veteran Affairs, and is an active property. There are a couple of vacant buildings on the large property (including the original hospital building, now used for storage), but the Harper building is the only one is in danger of being torn down.
I haven't been able to tie down any exact accounts, but many locals who have been there claim that is "haunted" from past children who died there.
