Fantastic. This place is less than a mile from my home. I've always wanted to go and have friends that have been, but my husband insists it's too heavily patroled these days. I've heard that the lower levels are filled with water when the river is up, but when they have the dam closed those are the coolest parts of the building.
Yeah, we were almost caught when we were out there, but thats part of the thrill! Yeah, the basement level has some pretty cool stuff. Tons of pipes, pumps, valves and what not to keep you interested.
This place is going fast. A lot of the steel support columns have been sliced through with a welding torch. Some of the columns have been removed, so that one corner of the plant is hanging in the air. There were plenty of holes in the floor to fall through, and plenty of loose stuff overhead to fall on your noggin. If you go, take a hard hat and life insurance.
I hope who ever is behind this gets there face bashed in. Those pictures are hard to look at, I think I'm gonna be sick. Last time I went by it they had only taken the smoke stacks down. WHY, why couldnt they just leave it alone.....
