That HS closed in 1962, when the new one, Halter HS (renamed Eskridge), was built.
Like much of NoStL and NorCo - you wouldn't believe what it was like before I-70 displaced so many people.
Truly, Wellston was to Norco shopping what Maplewood was to shopping for the Western part of the County; both were real Meccas.

I went to WHS today, I was there for about an hour. also note. the local pd gives less than 2 shits.
