I was searching the internet and found out that there is a large box cluvert roughly under 25th street at Southwest Blvd. The soure is the architect's page of the Blvd. Brewery Expansion. On their page they say:
"The addition was shaped by an underground river that runs below the northwest corner of the building, channeled by dual 9′x18′ box culverts."
9'x18' is pretty big. Is there a creek or stream that used to be in that area that is diverted now or is it another of Knasas City's dual outflow drainage channels like the ones at the riverfront park?
Id like to know because the history of KCMO instrests me, it would be interesting to know that there used to be a creek on the westside.

You might have found what dumps into the river just southwest of Genessee and 25th Street. Find those floodgates on google maps and draw a line back to Boulevard beer. The line goes right through that concrete structure (appears to be a treatment plant). Through that field with all of the manholes and right to Southwest and 25th street.

Could this also be the drainage from the Penn Valley Park "lake"? It looks like the lake overflow drains to a NE corner, in line with the Blvd Brewery and the outlet in the river.
Turkey Creek tunnel is actually starts where Turkey creek goes underground at the interstate 35.
