Is how this sign should be read. Someone on UER (UrbexUS) posted this and I had a brief spark of genius and replied thusly.
It clearly says "No trespassing violators will be prosecuted". In other words, "None of the trespassing violators will be prosecuted".
To put it simply: If you are a "trespassing violator", you will not be prosecuted.
A semi colon would change the entire meaning. "No trespassing; Violators will be prosecuted." Or hell, even a period. With punctuation, it means they will prosecute trespassers who violate their No Trespassing rule.
But without punctuation, it clearly means they do not intend to prosecute any trespassing violators. So have at it.
As a pretend lawyer, I'm sure this explanation will totally get you out of trouble. "But officer, that sign doesn't say what you think it says!"
