It's still happening. Just, for whatever brilliant reason, they decided to have it in Montreal this year. It was between Chicago and Montreal, and I was pissed when Montreal got it. But, when you have a hundred whining Canadians on a website screaming baloney America and the Patriot Act, it was pretty obvious Montreal was going to get it.

Some of the Chicago guys are planning an event called Rustopia after Opex, though. It won't be nearly as big, but I'm gonna try for that one.

Sure. They haven't set a date yet, but I'll post here when they do. They're having a hard time figuring out when, because they've got to work around Opex and Europex.

Well kids, looks like the UER UE DB is down... When I tried to view it I got:

There is several things going on in this message...

#1 AV is using MySQL... BADBADBAD, especially considering he is running this in ASP, and MSDE runs better (depending on some things) and is free

#2 His MySQL Table 'avlocseen.MYI' is corrupt, or does not exist. Knowing MySQL in a windows environment though its probably corrupt. MySQL Likes to do things like that.

#3 Since he is using MySQL with Microsoft technologies, he has to resort to ODBC, which is not exactly native, so performance will be less efficient.
