hhhmmm could probably be done with a small dirt bike and effort.

we had a motorised scooter hooning around all weekend.
you could ride all the way almost to the funnel then you had to haul it down a small rock inclination then your there!

so yeah can be done ;-)

come to oz@ hahahaha

That last picture rocks. You Aussies have everything you could ask for there!

BTW: Who the hell found it, being in what sounds like the middle of no where. That's intense. I can only imagine his look when he first eyeballed it.

It was found by Mr India.

He heard about it off some bush walking folk, then it appeared front cover of a skate mag so of course we went faaaark we got to fond this :-)

Then the hunt was on...

Its our biggest RCP thats for sure.
108M abseil from railing to base of funnel.

l just heard today that apparently a skater dude tried to skate part of the funnel and stacked it soo hard he got helicoptered out.

ouch!

How do you guys not get into trouble exploring the funnel, especially with a crowd that size. Doesn't the government get twitchy about people exploring something near a dam? I know if we had a funnel near a dam here, you'd never be able to explore it.

aaahh l guess because it is literally that far out and inaccessible we were never scared of being caught.
Actually l wouldn't care less if they did to be honest cause we had 40 people and them meh... no chance.

sure they could probably get the local cop down there but pressing charges against 40 people is a highly unlikely scene in fact l've never heard of it.

we camped near the funnel but out of site so we were never seen really until we all came hooning down to the funnel to abseil it at 9pm one night.

oh and in daylight we used the alternate entry to disguise our presence.

we are still a very lax area.... sometimes but get near the major cities and its siren central.
so yeah it has its pro's and con's.

I don't know how wide the mouth of it is but it's damn huge!

I got a bit more of an idea now where myself and a few other cave clan people will be.

# May 27-August 27 || Canada + USA
{Montreal OPEX gathering July 29th/30th}

# August 27 - October 25th || Europe

working on it still...
