I hear Sub is really into pegging.
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

Panic nabbed this villainously dangerous little scourge of the urban environment last winter. I cant remember if I named it something obscene or not. But it's very important to wear riot gear to defend yourself from such terrifying creatures. While I took the picture, Sub had an elephant rifle trained on the vermin's head, just in case it had the abs to reach up and claw at the hand suspending it.

Pretty risky stuff, guys. Be careful out there.

So, animals I have fought in the wild. Beavers, Possums, Snakes, Snapping Turtles, and Vultures.

I once was frog gigging and saw a dead beaver floating in the creek. Ew nasty right? So I took my spear and went to like, flip it out of the water up onto the bank just so it wouldn't rot in the creek, and as soon as I did, I became aware that the beaver wasn't actually dead, because it exploded up out of the water towards me with it's giant yellow teeth bared, and it charged me making this horrible snorting growl. I was startled, so my first unconscious instinct was to stab the beaver with my spear. I did, and the barbed gigging prongs kinda stuck and the beaver jerked and at that moment I lost my footing on the slippery creek rocks and fell, losing my grip on the spear. I surface, and the beaver, trashing with the spear stuck in it's back, whacked me in the side of the head with my spear hilt as I emerged, I cried out, grabbed the spear, and with a jerk the beaver pulled lose and was gone.

I would say we tied.

The other major animal battle I had was with a Vulture. If anyone listens to the PodCast Stuff You Should Know, listen to the end of the Episode on Skywriting, and they will tell you my vulture story.

Summary: The Vulture Won.

Don't forget that encounter with a goose that gave you your title "The Goose Slayer".
