Island Family Center
Has anyone ever tried getting into the Island Family Center in Florissant? It's visible from the highway...entryway looks like a cheesy 80's castle. Located off Target Drive. I can't remember a time when this place was open. I know there used to be a ShowBiz Pizza Place next door (which operated as a Chuck E Cheese up until about 8 years ago). I myself am interested in seeing the place if anyone has pictures. Looks like they probably had one hell of a roller rink inside too, judging on the size of the place.

I've always wondered about that place too! I read somewhere that it was still somewhat in use but that was awhile ago and I never see any activity there.

Thanks! Just now finding out about this new name for "trespassing", Ha ha. Looks like a fun group of people to be a part of!

Trespass? I am 25% Native American and because of that I feel I should have the right to go anywhere I choose since this was all my ancestors' land first!

Probably about as well as saying I'm a self-proclaimed real-estate guru.

Forgot about that one! Hopefully it's full of creepy old rides, games and such.
Trespassing? We don't trespass! We "explore the neglected corners of our fair city".
But most of the time, we "look at google maps" and "spend all day trying to get in somewhere only to be disappointed". Good exploring days are far outnumbered by research and driving all over town for no good reason..
My girlfriend's daughter calls it "adventuring". I prefer that term, myself.

Got some good pics from here, I'll post them when I have a minute. I'm also very interested in checking this out, grew up in NOCO and I've been in here when it was a toy store in the 80s. I can't remember the name of it to save my life.
The front doors little glass window is busted out and the chain that was locked to said front door has also been broken.
