Discreet cameras

Post by SubLunar »

Anybody know of any particularly nice pocket sized cameras? I like the powershot G series, but way too expensive and a little too bulky still.

I need something I can take into places that can be hidden reasonably well but takes good pictures. Something with the dimensions of a cell phone would be perfect.

You need a spiffy camera harness like that white rabbit guy has on in that one trutv episode.

Actually yeah, a GoPro would be good if you wanted a capable camera in a tiny package. The only problem with that (or any small size) camera is that it will not perform well in low-lit conditions. I'm probably saying things you already know, but isn't low light performance important for the places you'll be taking pictures of?

Actually, I found the perfect camera.

Canon ELPH 110HS.

It's the size of a cell phone, it has a nice lens and takes super crisp photos. Plus, it has a mute function! No shutter or power on sound.

I went to Best Buy and this was the most capable camera with all the features I need. It's the perfect infiltration camera.

Price isn't too bad either! Good find.
