There's a little piece that is sticking up out of the water, which makes me wonder what that is. It's obviously part of the Inaugural but I'm not sure what part.

Hope this helps?

And they cut that square piece out of the front most part of the bow after Mandy and I were there last.

It's part of the bridge that they cut up and laid over there. There's like 5 or 6 large pieces sitting next to each other over there.

Haunting photos - particularly #1.
Amd #2 is not far behind.
They look like a WWII wreck in the Aleutians.

Apparently they've given up on it's demo for awhile cause the cat and the backhoe that they were using to pull the pieces off weren't parked on the hillside nearby like they were before.

I don't even like seeing it like this. It's like looking at a dog that just had two of its legs ripped off.

Goddamn, if only it could have rained a week sooner than it did..

I honestly was more pissed off when they tagged it then having it partially torn apart.

I sort of agree.

Tagging it, IMO, sent the message "piss on you; I'm king of shit mountain; look at my spraypaint; I'm cool, right?". Which amounts to a complete disrespect to the boat and to Saint Louis history in general.

Which is essentially the way I view most graffiti. The person who does it obviously gives no fuck about Saint Louis or the thing on which they're scrawling their vandalism.

When it's on some random run down building, I don't really care. But when it's on things of this nature, I get really pissed off..

Yeah.

Floodwall = Graffiti Appropriate

Sunken ship = Graffiti Not appropriate
