Some kid decided he would share this site and forum with the world, I asked him to delete the comment so there wouldn't be high traffic or vandalism going on in my favorite places in springfield/greene county. Here's the link to the post he commented in

So, I looked and couldn't find the post in question. That being said, that Tyler guy looked like a total douche.
This is him. Now, if anybody sees this tool, just begin beating him relentlessly. Hopefully someone on this site can personally cause him to cease and desist if he is indeed being a stupid bitch.
Let it be known, I don't even know if this guy actually did anything, I just want to beat his ass based on his Facebook page alone. I mean, look at the guy!

..and should we petition google to remove UO? That's how I found it. Search any cool abandonment and this forum pops up.

All i could find was a comment he made about the "springfield underground."
I'm sure it will cause a few people to come to this site, but there are already people finding places to explore, because of this site, who havent joined yet. I have met a few of them when exploring.

To be honest if we didn't want people to find the site so easily everything posted would be private and everyone would have to have admin. approval to join and see what was posted. Honestly we don't care.

I found the site through Google. Ha.
I was searching for information on Garber, Mo and this site popped up.
I mean, if it's coming up on Google, other people obviously know about this site, and it doesn't seem like the masses are breaking down the doors, so obviously it isn't a huge deal.
I understand the need to keep it on the "down-low" but it doesn't seem to be something people are screaming over.
Just saying.

The Local History section of the Springfield Greene County Library website links to UO for several things that we've worked hard to fact check. So this is a valuable website for good information too.

| If you want the site off Google, it'd be quicker to just throw a redirect somewhere behind a robots.txt file telling search engine spiders to ignore the site. That's what I've usually done with my non-public sites.

That's definitely understandable. There have been so many places already torn apart and vandalized. It's a sad day to go exploring and see beautiful places destroyed. It's depressing to know that people don't care.
