I'm looking for places to watch the "Supermoon" that is supposed to happen Saturday night (5/5/12), or the one in June.

Is there anywhere at Nebo/Magazine, or better locations?

Anywhere with a good view of the eastern sky.
I was in Parsons KS last year for it, out by the old Army Ammunition plant (for work), and it was so bright I thought Joplin was on fire. It was WAY WAY brighter than I expected, and pictures just do not do it justice.

The overlooks on Highway 23 are probably a good place to watch, or somewhere flat.
