This building was known as The Edge Restaurant.

| There's a large sewer or storm drain that runs below the building. I'm told you could feel the building shake on 'heavy flow days'. |

Interesting. If you go to into street view at the hole it's not there anymore. So either they sealed the hole and paved over it or they dug up the parking lot and put the hole in.

Could be a sink hole they're shoring up.
Bing shows the lot of tress and overgrow just to the south of the place holds the ruins of a brick house.
Bing doesn't show the hole.

That hole was probably for lowering a tunnel boring machine, workers, and equipment.
