Hello I'm new here and just would like some tips and advice of how or where to do building exploration in the Springfield Area
Im a student at MSU and have done some exploring before. Been in parts of the MSU Tunnels and some pretty neat "back" areas of JQH Hall (which by the way is a great place to study if you never want to be interrupted) Checked out the creek tunnels downtown but didn't go that far in because i had no flashlight with me at the time.
Im From Kansas City and done some exploring there too. Best things from there were when I found a way into the service tunnels/underground area of the convention center there. Also liked the power and light building. The basement is really creepy, the old machinery down there still works.
However by far my favorite find by far is a certain abandoned office space. I wont mention it here because someone might lock it if i do but its been open since at least 07 when i found it the first time and i was last there this summer. Its the top floor of one of the taller buildings downtown and offers a great view. If you want to know where it is and how to get there send me a PM. Ill also take some pics if i go there again (Im at MSU now)
I regret not taking a camera with me on any of my adventures but I have one now and plan to start taking pics, I just have to figure out where to go and how to do it. |

Ahoy!
You've got a good idea about not specifically naming places.. and another fun aspect of being sneaky is posting cool, yet unidentifiable, pictures of the places you've been. |

I'm friends with the security for the Houn' Dawg factory building near the Hotel of Terror. I could easily get us in there, without any risk of police intervention, since we'd have been invited. It's Halloween, my van just broke down, and I live in the downtown area. Looking like it may be an uneventful night, but if anybody else would like to explore I have a quasi-group always ready. Also, we like to party, but will be considerate of others, so let me know in advance if you have any issues with harmless plants. And welcome, Menoirus! These people are insane... _________________ - Y U NO LIKE RANDY?!?! |
