The color scheme is certainly...interesting...

from what i remember, the outside paint has either been changed to something less bright or faded. most likely faded.

Actually I was commenting on the inside, especially the kitchen tile.

I guess the site was worth more to split up and develop. And so it goes.

I still think whoever decided it was a good idea to load the place up with sexy mannequins needs to be taken out back and put down and his body along with the creepy mannequin love dolls should be sacrificed by fire, never to be seen again.

tis the spfd way. let it fall into disrepair, demolish, build something awful, generic and new (preferably out of cheap cinder blocks, to house something like a payless or nail salon).

There's a group on FB that posts these amazing historic landmark photos of springfield. lately the guy will post the pic, then post the google link to the site today. most of them are depressing.

The new downtown lofts are pretty spiffy, but yeah, landmarks don't seem to be a Springfield concept at the moment.
