I'm a maybe, but not real likely as I will be just getting my first paycheck from my new job that week.
Will there be other exploring of Tulsa outside of drains, such as buildings and whatnot? |

As much as you want I suppose. we have tons of shit here in Tulsa. We don't have plans for that it is a drain party. So that is solely up to you. |

Bad news.
King Cobra has cancelled on us. After taking them in the drain to show them what it was like, they responded by saying they didn't realize it would be wet... And their music doesn't translate into acoustic very well, and they don't want to get their electric stuff wet.
Oh well.
I make 4 suggestions. 1 of which will happen.
1. Bacon and I will play a bunch of Sublime and various punk rock songs on acoustics for you. If you make a request and we don't know it, but you know how to play, feel free to grab the guitar and jam it. (On a related note, I know thousands of songs I've learned over the last 14 years but I can't sing for shit. But I can play almost anything.)
2. If there are any musicians coming, bring your instrument and let's have a huge jam session.
3. I'm bringing a stereo, so feel free to bring your iPod or what have you, and we can rock out that way..
4. I want to explore the tunnel with a bunch of people at one time. I think it would be cool for 30 people to go down at the same time. Drunk.
Sorry if this deters anyone from coming, not that anyone was coming with the sole intention of listening to a band no one knows. I'm really quite pissed at this band for bailing after I told them over and over about the conditions down there.
We tried, but fuck it. Band or no band the show will go on.
I would like to add the Mr_Fiend is currently talking with a few bands local to Tulsa about playing. We'll see how that goes, but for now expect just Bacon and I to play.
If you have any better ideas for anything, put em here to discuss. We only have 5 more days til the partay!

Thanks for hosting this guys. It was fun.
It's also great to have stuff like this going on in Tulsa. It's really convenient for Springfield people like me, since it's the closest city that's larger than Springfield. |
