Hello all, been a while
anyway, i was out and about in tunica last weekend. I struck up a conversation with a shuttle bus driver regarding the old harrah's casino (the original location which next to sam's town, it was isle of carpi before it finally closed). The conversation turned into abandoned areas in tunica, he told me there where several, but i did not have much time to talk to him. So i got on the ole' trustworthy google earth and found them.
Here is some screens:
This is located directly behind the goldstrike hotel tower.
this is the orginal harrah's tunica, i think it is currently under renovation into a new destination, conflicting information on that. It is right next to sam's town
this is kinda off the beaten path a ways, but these are pictures of the original casino development sites for tunica, i may be showing my age here, but these where way before my memory. Apparently the bottom property still has one of the old casino ships.
This is apart of the same complex, there is still a entry building and some sounding buildings.
and this is not a casino, but here is a old bridge i found:
it is located kind down south but very close to the current harrah's casino structure.
I wont be back in tunica for some time, they rapped me enough financially for this year, but its just a heads up.
If any one has any information of the above pictures, you found some others please tell me, i eat that stuff up!
Have a good one,
