Just a heads-up. I RSVPd as a "maybe". Sounds really awesome so I'm gonna try and make this year's.

It's that time of year again.
Date: Mar 25-27, 2011
Place: The Cave (message me for location info)
We would like to extend an open invite to out of towners! We've had a great turnout in years past and explorers from several surrounding states have come to explore KC and party with us. The cave is an ambient 55-60 degrees and is usually well drafted. Should be nice and warm, no matter what temps we have outside.
** EVERYONE BRINGS FIREWOOD, PLEASE. **
Shennanigans:
Friday 03/25 - I'll be there at 7 pm to set up camp, get the fire going, and start my alcohol binge. Most folks, if they come tonight, roll in around 10 or 11.
Saturday 03/26 - Weather permitting, heading out around 10-12 to visit some of KC's sites. Later in the evening is the big party. Usually in full swing around 11 pm. There is no time in the cave, and no bed time either. Some people just come down for the party. All the cool people camp out, at the campout.
Sunday 03/27 - Hangovers, darkness, strange recollections. Try not to be the last one out. It's easy to get turned around if the candles aren't burning.
What To Bring:
Headlamp with extra batteries
Flashlight(s) with extra batteries
Camping or folding chair.
Sleeping bag
Inflatable matress pad
Tent (if you want extra warmth)
Extra layers or pairs of pants / socks etc just in case you're wet or cold
Food to cook or there's some KILLER BBQ right next door.
Bottled water
Paper towels
Trash bags
Fireworks (roman candles, fountains, saturn missiles, nothing too loud)
Candles (tealights are cheap and add a couch of class)
Whatever you want to drink or smoke, is welcome.

I think the campout is kicking off on Friday 3/25. I am leaving StL around noon on Friday.

I can't make it until Saturday anyway, so I'll be there Saturday evening.
Saturday's always the big night at the campout where everyone shows up anyway. |

Well, the Super Spring Jam didn't exactly deliver on the super.
Someone vandalized our cars last night.
There were probably 12-14 of our cars parked together, and someone went down the line and smashed windows and windshields on about six or seven cars. Most lost a single side window and there were at least two totaled windshields. Some, like redox, lost multiple windows.
Other weird part: NOTHING was stolen. Our belongings weren't disturbed in the slightest. And people had iPods in their cars laying out, wallets, etc.
Yup, so, it was fun until I had to leave to get my passenger side window replaced this morning.  |

I think there would've been a mass ass-stomping-unto-death if a responsible party could've been located for sure, but we don't know who did it.
Some people think it was random kids or something, and there are other theories. |
