Hmm, perhaps you're right.

We require pics! Pics or it didn't happen!!

Went paintballing for the first time ever yesterday for the kid's birthday.

I can't believe it has taken me this long to do it, but the biggest reason is my non-exploring friends suck and don't do cool shit anymore.

It was fucking awesome. I kept dying at first because I kept trying to rush the other team and getting shot right away, but eventually I started getting the hang of it. Near the end of the games, on my favorite map thus far, I Rambo'd the shit out of everyone on the "Village" map where there was a lake in the middle. I went around the right side and made one kill after another until I had made a complete circle and came up behind the last guy on the other team. I wasn't sure who was the enemy anymore since I was on their side of the map and he was shooting in the direction of my team, but he didn't have the yellow ribbon on his gun to indicate his team. So I asked him and he confirmed he was the enemy and was pinned down by the remainder of my team. I could have just blasted him but I was going to let him have a chance and I started to back away to go find cover but at that moment the ref called it.

Yeah it's fun as shit and just as painful as well. That's why fall/winter is the best time bc you can put on thick clothes and extra layers. I have a bunch of woods behind my house so I'm trying to get all my roommates to bring their guns into town too so we can play some woods ball.

Damn, I've gone at least a dozen times, although it's been a few years.

Yeah, shit is fun. Until you get some little bitch who keeps shooting you after you're out.

Despite the recent Quad-core upgrade for my ~10 year old XP machine, certain new softwares built for Windows 7 have signaled retirement for my trusty old machine. After months of testing them on my laptop, I finally decided to go all in and buy a new machine to handle the new software. My old one still kicks ass but it's time for new shit.

So yesterday my components arrived and I built myself a new 8 core (x 4ghz) AMD machine with 16GB RAM dedicated to audio/video production. Initial tests are promising with audio resolution at 24bit/96khz/256 samples.

I also just bought a new analog synthesizer and it should be here tomorrow..

Throughout this process, I've completely reorganized my studio in anticipation. This has been a months long project and I'm ready to be done with it. Can't fucking wait to get back to work making music on some shiny new equipment!

Sweet! 16 jiggabats of RAM is wonderful, I can never go back to less. What synth did you decide on getting?
