Celebration City

Post by Underdog »

Has anyone been to pay a visit to Celebration City since it closed down about 5 months ago? Sertile and I were talking about going the other day and I didn't know if anyone had wandered in the park yet or not since it went out of business. Seems like it would be a lot of fun.

It looks the same, I don't think they've touched it since then.

It's the theme park in Branson that is owned by the Hershend Family (Silver Dollar City, White Water, Showboat Branson Belle). I have heard that they are using the theater there for church services now. We were just there over Memorial Weekend and the gate to the theater was wide open...I didn't have the guts to explore since there were so many people... :(

No actually it's at the far west of Branson where Shepard of the Hills Expy ties in with Hwy 76.

Wow, I haven't been in Branson for a long time, when did they get a Steak 'n' Shake on the west end of town?

I knew Celebration City would not last. I was even more amazed when the Grand Palace went under.
