I was driving around aimlessly yesterday and ended up in Strafford, where I found this huge abandoned factory. It's on Farm Rd 125 and its brick red with vines all over it. My friend and I are planning on finding a way in.
Do any of you know anything about this factory? |

Yes, sir. That would be it.
We've found a few loose boards in the windows of both buildings. We're planning to see what kind of place this was sometime this week. |

If you think that's a huge factory, come up to St. Louis!
But, seriously, check out the water tower next to it, for all of us inquiring people who don't live in Springfield. |

Yeah, it definitely is the same building. And I'll be checking out that water tower soon.
I've been meaning to check out this forum but I never really got the chance. I go on alot of aimless drives and find alot of cool shit that either you guys haven't talked about or may have already come across.
Nice to know there are hella more people interested in such crazy shit as me. |

Yeah, this is a pretty sweet forum in terms of exploration.
..and if you don't see a thread on something, it doesn't necessarily mean people haven't explored it, they might just think it's too "sensitive" to mention. So, if you see something super awesome, PM someone in the area about it. |

Agh, I got excited for a moment.
I don't even know of any decent-sized abandoned factories in Springfield. Even occupied factories, at that. We do have a shitload of mills, at least. |

| there's another thread about this, I think. To repeat, from what I understand, it's an old canning factory. About 40 years ago, the tower read "Gulf," like the old gas station. I heard that the place was named "Gulf." |
