has anyone ever successfully gotten on or in either of these buildings? they're right next to the chain of rocks bridge.
Re: intake towers?

Re: intake towers?
Yeah, it was once a goal of mine, I've since pretty much written it off.
Just way too risky. Percieved tampering with the water supply could land you in really, really, really hot water.

Re: intake towers?
Yeah, we've talked about it in the past. Do a search or just go back several pages, the topic comes up.
Re: intake towers?
Those intake towers are not in use anymore at all, but I think read they are kept in working order as back up.Chris wrote:Yeah, it was once a goal of mine, I've since pretty much written it off.

There are aquaduct tunnels cut through the bedrock that run under the river to those towers btw.
Re: intake towers?
I guess this is about the chain of rock towers, I tried to get in there legally with a friend who worked for the water dept. never happened, but I learned in the process if you try it yourself its protected by homeland security... one of those shoot first ask later things..

Damn....that would be an awesome place to check out. My bets on they are saving it for a back up source.

Use some of your powers to get in there, Batman!
Re: intake towers?
I couldn't find the thread but if i remember right in the one it is just a bunch of pipes and values and I think in the bigger one they may have had living quarters but getting out to them and then not getting caught will be the chanenge

Re: intake towers?
There's supposed to be big assed pipes (7' or so, I think) that go from them to the water treatment plant.
They have pulleys to open and close the gates, and yes, the larger one supposedly has living quarters.

RE: intake towers?
I thought I read somewhere that both of them had sleeping quarters. The only powers I got is to where a mask an not get shot at. There has to be a way in without getting noticed.
