lever soap plant
Re: lever soap plant
So far, this place is still standing. A few friends and I explored this place a few days ago at night (dangerous because of holes) and ran into no security. If you walk along the side of the fence facing the cemetery and the electrical lines, some one has cut a large hole that is easy to fit through. Right next to that is a gap underneath the fence that we all could fit through as well.

Normally it is advised to not disseminate point of entry details on the public interwebs.
But since Lever is not long for this world, I don't see this being a problem. And I think that hole has been there since forever.

Re: lever soap plant
Oh sorry. I figured since the Lever Soap is so easy to access and it is pretty trashed to begin with, I thought it might be okay. I'll keep that in mind next time for the more discrete locations. I certainly do not want people to vandalize anything in any location.

Poor Lever. Pointlessly guarded after being neglected for so long...

Another place I've not gotten around to seeing.
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

It's a big empty concrete and steel blob. Definitely not a bucket-list item.
RE: lever soap plant
Eh, for what it is Lever is worth at least one visit.

Re: lever soap plant
Lever was a fun one. I remember we went there and everything was covered in ice. Probably not the best idea as I did bust my ass, luckily on the ground and not 5 stories up.

What was in the giant missile silo like hole when it was a factory? A tank of some sort?
