Well we only have liability and the other car that ran me off the road took off. So I'm pretty much screwed. I'm just glad I didn't end up in the river... Other than a nasty burn on my neck from the airbag, I'm ok.

It was out in Foley on a road where there's a lot of abandoned houses. I'm pretty sure he was coming back there to cook some meth. He looked like that type. The fucked up thing is, it was a dead end road, so he had to turn around, then he drove right past me.
It was an older green mini van. My dad and brother were hoping his ass would come back down the road when they put my car on the trailer. He didn't.

Her only reply was "Well, I'm unemployed, so...."
So fucking what? That means you can get away with being completely irresponsible with someone else's shit and not have to pay for the damages or even accept responsibility?
She was all tatted up and had the mannerisms of a filthy whore. Now, I for one can really appreciate the services a filthy whore provides (when I was single anyway). And I'm not saying people with tattoos are all filthy whores. But she was clearly the type that's content with using people and not paying their way through life. I think the story was that the guy that brought her had just met her at a bar recently, so go figure.
The atv is still operational and I can't pinpoint any mechanical issues that have arisen from this incident, but the plastic is even more fucked up than it was and the wheelie bar is smashed to hell. So I won't be seeking blood, but I sure as hell won't let anyone else ever ride our stuff again. |
I'm pretty sure I watched a Judge Judy where this exact same thing happened. The girl that crashed the atv didn't want to pay for the damages cause the atv wasn't hers and apparently wasn't safe to ride and she had a counter claim for her trumped up medical bills. The people that wanted her to pay for the damage she caused to the atv won. And the counter-claim was dismissed. And Judge Judy yelled at her for being an idiot if she thought she wasn't at fault and didn't owe them money to fix the damage.

The police out there pretty much know the trouble making assholes by vehicle and by name, especially since it's a small town and the police there deal with repeat offenders. You would probably be well off mentioning the vehicle description to a local officer and if they have been in the area for a while they might know which person you are talking about. I know out there they are really cracking down on meth and other back-country-chemistry related products, so if this guy is a repeat offender they should know exactly who he is. |

Yeah or the river. Idk. I was freaking out and not thinking straight. It was only a pipe with about half a bowl of weed anyway. That's all I brought.
The only other accident I've been in was pretty much the same scenario, except in Hazelwood. I called the cops that time, but they couldn't do shit. Granted, it's a bigger city, but still... My insurance company couldn't do anything for me either.
