Tunnels under Central High School?

Is this true? Are there tunnels under Central? Not having gone to school in Springfield, I'm afraid I'm out of the loop...

Yup there sure are. They use some of it for storage for drama equipment now. Well that's what one of my friends was telling me. He's never gone in the tunnels himself, scared to death of dark places.

I went to Central, and every year they'd hold "tunnel tours". It's been awhile, but they went pretty far, and supposedly hooked up with other tunnels in the area. All I ever saw was the bits where they stored old trophies and whatnot.
No one should brave the underworld alone.

I wish I could get permission from Central to put those tunnels on my site, but I doubt they'd go for it. I'm pretty ballsy, but I've never wanted to try and sneak into those particular tunnels. You really don't want to be a legal adult caught prowling around a high school :P

I used to go to Central, and I've got a little pull around there. I'll see what I can get, but it'll probably just be a small group able to go, like 3 or 4 people. White Rabbit, PM me on this one, I've got a PS.

pretty sure I made it into the tunnels on accident once, trying to get in the building prior to basketball practice, but I couldn't see much...wasn't really prepared.

yup- went to Central about six years ago... they were giving all seniors the "tour" if you could call it that.

wasn't really that grand, but still, pretty damn cool.
