Swiss Villa/Black Oak Mountain Amphitheater

Post by darko80 »

I'm relatively new here so this subject may already be covered but recently, I was down in Blue Eye in hopes of visiting Camelot. Turns out, Camelot was no more so as I was heading back towards Branson, I decided to detour through Lampe to see Swiss Villa. Has anyone visited the old Amphitheater?

If my memory's right, I think it was Summer of 2000 when Ted Nugent and .38 Special played. I was living in Kimberling City then and I remember being excited that there might be more shows coming. Never happened. Damn....time flies.
