satellite pictures
First let me start by saying, it was a pleasure to hang out with split and glass, I had a great time talking to them and getting to know them.
The satellite was very worth going to, it was a really long ride, but in the end it was all worth it.
When we finally arrived in Hopper, it didnt take long for us to find it, someone suggested we ask where it is, so I pulled into a driveway, and went up to a house, a younger boy answered the door, and he tried to give us directions but was kinda confused, so his mom stepped in, and she volunteered to take us to it herself, after a short 5 minute drive, we were there, she waved us ahead, and we thanked her.
when we arrived at the gate, it looked sketchy to me, and I personally had rservations about jumping the fence, but after driving all that way I couldnt help myself, hell we didnt even have to jump the fence, we just walked around it.
another funny story, while we were there, we all heard what sounded like a door shutting, we all looked up at once, and decided to leave, we snuck through the woods, back to the gate, and with my binoculars we looked but there was no one there.
to me the strangest thing about the place was this:
the satellite had obviously been out of commission for many years, in some of the pics you'll see a white building, just before the satellite, there was one power line going into the building that was supplying electricity to the building, to me that was strange, what could possibly be going on in there?, and the second strange thing, the grass and the hedges around the building were very well maintained, freshly cut grass and trimmed hedges, you be the judge.
I'm sure split and glass will post their pics when they get time.
enough rambling here are the pics, i'm splitting them up into a few different posts.
Love, Static.

Re: satellite pictures
Awesome.
Is it just me or does it look like it's set at a really low angle. I'd think it would be pointed more up in the sky, or maybe the pics don't show it.

The building looks like it's in use to me.

Re: satellite pictures
thats kinda what I think, but there was no indication that anyone parks near the building, infact the path leading up the the building was nothing more than a creek, it was gravel with water running through it.Nicotti wrote:The building looks like it's in use to me.
its just all very strange to me.

RE: satellite pictures
I forgot this is my favorite pic out of all of them.
Notice in the upper right hand corner, there is an Alien spacecraft observing us.
