doesn't look like the place will be abandoned at all after all....they're hiring people right now..

the pickle factory sent a bunch of people over there this week....

my girlfriends dad has worked there for 20 years. they havent even told the employees when theyre closing yet.

You should all be aware by now that they threaten to shut down the plant every three or four years. It's never happened before, and it likely won't happen for a good bit. They've actually got a pretty good gig going, so they're not going to just pull the plug on a business that's still profitable. They ship to the entire midwest.

Go to a fast food joint sometime, and see where their cups come from. They supply just about every major chain in the area, plus a lot of the little ones. They're still making money hand over fist.
