So, I'm going to Galveston. Does anyone know of any cool old buildings or abandoned naval ships or anything like that I might need to check out? _________________ My Flickr Page |

| Wow a girl after my own heart, I know of two cool ships in the area that you can check out. One is a old pre-Dreadnought texas and the other is the tall ship Elissa at the seaport museum. Both of these ships are open and you can wander all over the ship by yourself. There are some old abandoned ships (mostly small abandoned ones like tugs and small coastal freighters) but most are a bitch to get onto them. Anchor chain is not nearly as easy to climb as one would think it is. |

sweet, thanks for the info. I'm hoping to be able to crawl all over the island but not sure if my trip companions are gonna be receptive to that. _________________ My Flickr Page |
