Hey, any of you guys that are in Springfield today, if you happen to pass by the Jordan Creek, do me a favor and take a peek and see how high it is. Then let me know here when you get a chance.
I've been planning to take a canoe trip down the creek for a long time. I wouldn't now even if the water was high enough (too damn cold), but I'm curious how high it is, if it's even high enough after all this rain.

Sorry, I'm a little too late to answer your question. I've always wanted to do the same thing, though, except I have a raft that I usually take in caves. The only thing is, I live about a mile from the tunnel but I always chicken out. I imagine myself going in one side alive and coming out the other with something rammed through my head...
