the old leeds hospital in raytown is all town down now. it was completely torn down about 2 or 3 years ago...

there wasn't much there even when it was up, just a few bums and a bunch of army ration crackers stacked up in the basement...it was very structurally unstable the last few years before it was razed

the odd fellows home is a weird one; very hard to get to as there is a security guard on site that WILL chase you off....if anyone on here is a full member of www.uer.ca, there is a nice gallery of the odd fellows home on there

Why can't anyone else get to see it. Acutally I'm really interested in it... Though I'm a member of the Odd Fellows I'm mainly interested in who currently ownes the old home.

They have the file permissions locked on a bunch of locations on uer. I'm not sure who owns the Odd Fellows home now; I do know that they are trying to make the land and area surrounding into a vineyard.

Since I'm a member of the Odd Fellows do you think UER would let me have access to just the Odd Fellows Home stuff that they do have? (I know they most likely wouldn't but hey no wrong in asking)

Nope. Not unless you sign up over there and become a Full Member. If you're signed up, I can recommend you for Full Member status, but there's no guarantee they will give it to you.

I've found that you can send people links to pictures in Full Member locations even if that person isn't even registered. I don't know if that's what you're talking about... But I could just take screenshots of everything and post them here.

I don't know if that would be a wise move.

What would they do? Delete my account?

Forgive me if I don't seem more intimidated.

I don't see how they'd make a connection from that name to this one, as neither are similar.

But what is it that you want to see? I looked over it today, it's pretty cool. The dude who visited the place seems like a total dumbass, however.

Frankly I just wanted to see what kind of shape it's currently in and more importantly (and I doubt I'd get the info from said site we're talking about) I'd like to know who owns the place. It's sad that the Missouri Grand Lodge let it go. :( We have a couple of old photos of it from about 100 years ago hanging in our lodge hall here in town.
