We took the air filter off and misted some WD-40 in there but apparently lawnmower motors don't run to well on WD-40.
My only guess is that the guy in the elevator told the guy sitting on the lawnmower to go forward and reverse via radios.
Funny as hell though, reminds me of something you'd see on the 'Red Green Show'. |
I imagine it would have a hell of a time running the elevator with the conduit to the brake cut. The conduit looks like a "recent" addition.
I love the control room pics. Looking at the old Allen-Bradley announciators (grid of white squares at the top right) I would guess that it was installed circa 1970-75. You hardly see them anymore.

| That's cool. Even if it's not the greatest thing you guys ever explored, it still looks cool and I wouldn't mind seeing it sometime. |

WOW! North county has already blown me away from a UE perspective, now this! Coincidentally this factory is in an area which I was planning on scouting this weekend anyway for new sites. Pagedale, Wellston, and Hillsdale all have had substantial decrease in population recently...that means the probability of finding abandonments is high around there. There's gotta be more around there.
They better not have demo'ed the mall yet... _________________ Moo. |

I don't know about the other 2 areas but Wellston a pretty rough part of town. You would have to be more cautious then usual going there. Maybe worthy of bringing a firearm depending on the place.

| Yes as Tunajive said unless you plan on getting robbed and walking home naked, I probally wouldn't go to Wellston. Not the best part of town. |

-Matt | Well I am in no way a expert but man if you are going to welston you need to bring several really big firearms and maybe a few well trained friends--kinda like oh I dont know a Seal team _________________ Sleep is a waste of time, you can sleep when you are dead |

| Ah, the Lever Soap plant. Haven't gone in the day yet, but the view of the city from the top at night is pretty cool. That and the sheer scale of the building... Not as easy to get into as it was back in '06 but it was still easy enough for a noob like me! Lots of fun. |
