They are building new roads all over that area so here is a sat. photo. You need a 4x4 truck or a 4wheeler and a set of balls if you want to drive to it or you have a long walk on your hands.

As long as pictures are taken and people have a chance to get CD's of it, I think it'd be a good idea. Of course there'd have to be proof that nobody's a cop or anything because it'd be cool to have those pictures.

If I could afford it, I'd be willing to take a road trip myself.

Yeah, this place was pretty awesome. It's a freaking tragedy if they tear down that big lodge, too. Someone spent a ridiculous amount of money building a log building that size.

Yeah, that place is probably the most "in-shape" abandoned place I've ever visited. The cabins looked like they could totally be salvaged. It's a shame that all that time and money had to go to waste like that. If I were a bum I'd just live there.
