RE: Hello from australia!
Hello from the Ozarks! Sorry to disappoint, but the Ozarks are not in California, though parts do resemble the Pacific Northwest. The Ozarks cover large parts of Missouri and Arkansas, and small parts of Oklahoma and Kansas - all midwestern/southern states.
I've no idea where you are IN Australia, but I know there happens to be a happening urban exploration scene in Sydney.

If you're in the neighborhood I suggest you try and get ahold of these guys before it's too late!

Hey man, welcome to the forum. Like Sertile said, we're a ways from California. I've been to your site many times before, though. Very, very cool.

RE: Hello from australia!
Ah ha, such a good response!
Yes l am from the sydney branch of the cave clan, but l have travelled to 6 of the 7 states around oz and know everyone around this southern continent.
Sydney in case you don't know is the biggest city (4 mill) and nearing the south-east of oz.
Sydney cave clan is on par with melbourne membership wise averaging 70 members, probably 25+ actively exploring our city weekly.
What is your group like?
How active?
I am compiling a list of places and working out where to go to when l go for a world tour late next year....
I didn't know about your website till yesterday when l stumbled on your link... is it new or something?
Or was l blind?!
Thanks, l will now file your site under the appropriate area :-p
cheers

Re: RE: Hello from australia!
Dog Patch is a very run down theme park. Based on a old comic book. Dog Patch closed when the managment did not update it or take care of it, but it is a very very very good place to UE. But it is also very dangerousNivelo wrote:Sorry dogpatchex, excuse my ignorance but what is this dogpatch your talking about?

Re: RE: Hello from australia!
Well... A few of us have groups on here, but I think most of us are just lone people out exploring. Raven's got a small group called the Urban Ninja Force based out of Springfield, but he's been MIA lately. I don't have a group myself, although I take friends with me pretty often.Nivelo wrote:Ah ha, such a good response!

RE: Hello from australia!
May I ask, what's so dangerous about Dogpatch? I've been by there, but never stopped. Also, would these ninjas be the same ninjas I heard about getting busted by cops at the Japanese stroll gardens a while back? Apparently there were guys there dressed as ninjas, according to one cop, doing crazy stuff like trying to scale the walls, and someone was having sex in the tea house. I assumed he was exaggerating a bit.
RE: Hello from australia!
Alright after all the talk on dogpatch l did a bit of a search to reveal very little except this forum that went too long and l gave up reading about.

Anyone got a website with piccies?
I am going off on a bit of a tangent here but here's my story!
I found a theme park recently.
It was a spanish horse theme park with loads of wildlife including alligators, horsies, fish, koalas blah blah blah...
Anyway, they all left like 5 years ago.
Bestest thing to do in there is to go down the 'black hole'!
What is the black whole? it's a enclosed waterslide without the water of course. We brought our skateboards and lied head first on them and booted it all the way down.
Man it was the maddest fun l've had in ages.
Then we had timed races, raced on plastic chairs, plastic barrels etc anything we could find!!
Anyway loads of theme parks have closed here, another was discovered nearby and another in South Australia.
We are goin NUTZ!!

RE: Hello from australia!
In terms of groups here and exploration, we basically have a group in every state, but they are all under cave clan.
There were a few other 'groups' back in the day but now they have all joined to form one huge clan.
It's great, you go to another state and you have instant contacts!
Ive been to almost every other state and there are people all over that l chat too all the time now.
We don't explore alone very often... well l don't.
