Skylight Cave

Post by adventure418 »

I got to go to Skylight Cave today and it was an awesome time. I really hope I get to go back and explore the rest, as well as find a way to get a camera through all the water and mud. For now these were the only pictures I could get. Best cave I've been in so far.

Nice! Is that the Sewer Entrance?

While they don't always take the bestest of pics compared to digital, disposable film cameras are a good option. Even if they get gummed up with mud and stop working you can still get the film developed.
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

I'm honestly not sure which entrance it was. We thought it was the river entrance but according to the map I think it might actually be the sewer entrance. Hmm

Yeah, I think it was the Sewer entrance, based on the ceiling height, the water flowing into the cave on the left side, and the amount of breakdown.

I've never seen the sewer entrance, when I went we entered and exited thru the sinkhole, but I remember the river entrance from the inside and it had a lot of large breakdown.

It looked like there was water in there in one of those pictures. I've been in before when it was completely dry, I think there's another level you can't normally get into unless it's totally empty.

I'm assuming by the last picture you went back into the 'hogwaller'?
