How about the 12th
This could easily be a daytime trip
My suggestions on where to go
Carthage Underground
Carter Park - civil war cave
Morrow Mill - don't have to go there - I will not be going to the top, been there done that - I REALLY hate heights
Church Cave - Outside of Joplin
I am sure we can think of some more or delete something that's on there.
Any suggestions?

Sounds really good to me, I had wanted to do more than just the underground if I was going all the way over there, and that gives me the perfect opportunity. If I can possibly go, you can count me in. _________________ Everyone else who lets me ride on their dinosaur calls me Carlos. |

Which 'underground' are you referring to? The abandoned part, or the active section?
Count me in for the most part - but if you decide to try to get into the active section, I'll be waiting for you outside, I would rather not get fired from my job (we have dealings with them)
Also we could do the Tunnels in Carthage, but their really not that exciting (although I haven't been there in years) _________________ Rejoice for very bad things are about to happen. - Richard |

Yeah, I really do not want to go to the active part, I just want to poke around in the inactive part.
I would also like to go to the tunnels if they are not crouching, but if no one else is interested,I don't mind going some other time. _________________ Everyone else who lets me ride on their dinosaur calls me Carlos. |

The tunnels are crouching, and their just the tunnels for the primary drainage system in Carthage.
The entrance is near the old McCune Brooks hospital, next to the old Consumer's/IGA parking lot.
Their simple, I've never found anything extraordinary in them, aside from some neat graffiti.
I'll definitely be there for any exploration, just give me a time and place to meet. _________________ Rejoice for very bad things are about to happen. - Richard |

I would definately be interested in this. Willard would you be up for this? You can ride with me if you can't drive it. _________________ "Searchers after horror haunt strange, far places." ~H.P. Lovecraft |

I just realized that those are the same tunnels that my uncle's would climb around in and yell at people to scare them. I would like to see the entrance so I can explore them later, unless every one would like to explore them, either way I am bringing my skate board. _________________ Everyone else who lets me ride on their dinosaur calls me Carlos. |

I'm ready for nearly anything, minimal heights would be preferred, but I can suck it up if I have to.

If nothing else, I can show you where to get in, and I did the same thing as your uncles, people, especially teenagers freak out when you yell at them from storm drains.

Lets meet at Burger King in Carthage at 11am?
Let me know if that works, and how many people are planning to show. |

Can do, count me in for 1... I've got a friend to ask if they'd like to tag along as well, but it's unlikely he'd be able to. _________________ Rejoice for very bad things are about to happen. - Richard |

I am planning on showing up, and Veruth may want to go as well but there is no telling if he can. He seems to be stuck at home at the moment. _________________ Everyone else who lets me ride on their dinosaur calls me Carlos. |
