fuck those fuckin fucks..... i practaly lived there , it was my home away from home.... i still have the blueprints so when im rich and famous i can build my own  .... i evfen have concept drawings of projects that were never completed..... but i find myself at wal-marx every other day....

Gotta say, I agree with KansasCity. I never felt unsafe at either Hypermart or Bannister Mall. I never saw it as that much of a high-crime area personally. The culture there changed over the last few years, but I don't think the crime rate changed that much.

i worked there (bannister mall) for 2 yrs. it got so bad by the time i left that i had to have police officers escort me to my car every night and they walked me to my store every morning. the mall hired kc police officers to work all day there and they kept really close watch over me and my employees. they'd even escort me to lunch if i ate upstairs in the food court. of course, i was the manager of fredericks of hollywood so i dealt with LOTS of unsavory characters and had to call the cops several times. damn filthy men think just cuz you work in a store full of crotchless panties and garter belts you're gonna "model" everything.

Have you ever seen the Jeff Foxworthy sketch about Victoria's Secret. I think you would find it rather humorous - it's kind of like looking at it from the other end. Jeff is afraid in the skit that the people in the store are going to think he is one of these guys... just because he likes to handle the merchandise.

Not surprised you live in this area - you did work in Bannister Mall for a while. I assume you would not have wanted to work there unless it was close to home.

| oh i never assumed the men who came in were perverts. it was only when one would approach me and say, "damn, baby, i'd drink your bathwater. why don't you put this on and meet me in the dressing room so i can take your picture", that's when i'd assume they were perverts. or the guy that asked me if i'd "help him with his audio business" by meeting him later and let him record me making "moaning sounds" for him to sell. |

Lines like that don't even work when I use them on my wife, and she *wants* to have sex with me. If they don't work on somebody who is willing, I doubt the would work on anybody who wasn't.
Of course, when I was single I wasn't dumb enough to think the salesperson in a lingerie store would want a date, so I doubt we are dealing with rocket scientists here.
