Waterpark near Ponca
If anyone is ever near Ponca, I have seen an abandoned looking warterpark type place on a river there. Very rustic. On the way out to Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, as I remember it. It looks like a fun photo op, right off the main road. Ask the locals.
Praying for me is like putting quarters in a coke machine that isn't plugged in.

We're still working on the property, but it has slowed. All buildings should have new roofs in the next couple months.
We're currently in a court battle over the property right now because a tresspasser, one who was told by the police a previous time to stay off the property, was injured.
So until things are cleared up, I'll have to postpone a gathering of the UO minds.
The "I AM YOUR HOST" tag was meant to mock a former poster from this board.

I don't want to go into to much details because I was not there when it happened.
I recieved the call right after the kid reached the hospital.
A father, son and a local girl decided to have some four wheeling fun on the property. The father was approached by the volunteers on property instructing the father that they needed to leave and were not welcome on the property. During this time the kid was riding his four wheeler up the hill towards the road and ran into a cable that had been hung between two trees. The cord impacted his throat. The volunteers then quickly loaded the kid into a van and rushed him to the hospital.
I was told that it ripped open his throat and destroyed his larynx. I have no doubt in my mind the kid would have died if it wasn't for the volunteers help.
A short time later, maybe a week or two, I recieved word that we were being sued. This "shotgun lawsuit" involves any corporations that might have any ownership, the employees of the corproations, their families and the volunteers that were on the property.
On a personal note, three things that really bother me about this is, the father and son that were trespassing had previously been told to stay off the property by a police officer. To make it that much better, they own ~600 acres next to the park. To top it off, the family is sueing the people who I believe saved their childs life.
Needless enough to say, after this incident we are having zero tolerance for trespassers.

I don't blame you. That's insane. I feel bad for the kid, but sheesh.GatsbyfromMC wrote:Needless enough to say, after this incident we are having zero tolerance for trespassers.
