Partially collapsed dam north of Mena

Post by bugo »

There is a dam north of Mena, upstream from Ward Lake that is partially collapsed. The dam is made of concrete or stone and is pretty big. I haven't been there in about 15 years, but I assume it's still there. If anybody wants to check it out sometime, I can give directions or show where it is. I'd like to go back sometime anyway.

Where's Mena in relation to, say, hwy 65?

Mena is about 2 hours west of Little Rock, near the Oklahoma border. About halfway between Texarkana and Fort Smith on US 71. Quite a ways from US 65.
