Active explorer or armchair explorer
There are a lot of people on the form but it is rare that we get a post of a new uncharted location. I made a poll to see what the breakdown is on the web page.
Before I piss off everyone let me state that I know a lot of people eather don't have accese to exploring or are unable to for one reason or another. That is ok.

RE: Active explorer or armchair explorer
As a now armchair explorer, I take no offense whatsoever. I come to relive a lot of what I miss and it just reminds me to get back into what I enjoyed.

Those are my only two choices? Not much grey area, I guess. While I don't necessarily feel as cool as Indiana Jones, Chris can attest to my ninja-like wall climbing skills.

Unfortunately I tend to be more of an armchair explorer. I make a foray once in a while, but primarily caves. More along the lines of Indiana Jones father.

But are you as cool as Sean Connery? Although he's a dick in real life.BROUSER wrote:Unfortunately I tend to be more of an armchair explorer. I make a foray once in a while, but primarily caves. More along the lines of Indiana Jones father.

I would like to be a full-time explorer. If I could find some way to make money by exploring like the guys that work for National Geographic magazine. We should start a magazine called ???.

National Geographic dose not pay shit. I have 2 very close friends that were both photographers for them. They don't pay well and any photos you take become property of national geographic. But having them on your work history is worth its weight in gold.FiReDiVeR wrote:I would like to be a full-time explorer.
