Sinkhole.
The street at 17th and Cass collapsed today. Looks lime a large hole.. This is the area of the Lafayette cave. Anyone been there to look down there?

Your profile photo is an Easter bunny!

Aren't there suddenly several sunken spots surrounding Lafayette now? The big one/first one seems (to me) to be draining into what remains of the sewer...

Re: Sinkhole.
Yeah, that’s totally in the Lafayette cave zone. 17th & Cass sits right over where the old brewery tunnels and storm sewers tangle. Wouldn’t be surprised if a soft spot finally gave in—lots of water movement underground lately.
Might be worth checking with a light from the edge, but careful—edges can slough fast if it's old fill collapsing.

They showed it on the news. There's wood ND bricks down there. Msd says there is a brick lined tunnel in there
